The Client, Amisha Textiles, an a rapidly growing textile dealership, purchased a series of double height shops (galas) in one of the oldest and most prestigious textile markets in Surat, Purcahsing a series of shops on bioth sides of the aisle, gave them the added advantage of using, and occupying the large central corridor. The front of the office was kept as a double height lounge, for their clients, who mostly came from out of town and would spend upwards of a few hours in their galleries browsing and choosing fabric materials of all different kinds. The rest of the space was designed with a mezzanine which acted as their godown space.
