Keeping in mind the historic neighborhood and its character, the old, neglected office of IBI Chemicals was restored as a large work and meeting space, mainly for the owners and their guests. The identity of the space was derived from the neighborhood, using a lot of old, restored teakwood for the furniture and real wooden flooring. But it was not just the materials, the design too reflected this, in its detailing, its intricacy and its workmanship, harkening back to older times.
