Just after completing their residence, the clients entrusted us with the design of their top floor offices, in a building of their own. The plan was approved as a U-shaped office with a small open terrace in the middle, making it very difficult to be designed as a single office space. Despite the difficulty, a simple plan was devised with the main entry in the middle and 2 wings on either side. Natural light was in abundance with a beautiful view of the airport – and we decided to use only natural materials. Old Burma Teak, Kotah, Cudduppah, and granite – along with glass – were the only materials used for the office.
